Leadership & Transformation
Innovation & Creativity Management

The International Seminar on Innovation and Creativity Management for Executives officially kicked off in Toronto. Bringing together senior executives from across Africa, the week-long program (January 27–31) focuses on key themes such as design thinking and user-centered innovation, as well as artificial intelligence for productivity.
Throughout the seminar, participants did engage in interactive sessions, high-level networking opportunities, and cultural activities, including a business luncheon hosted by the Club canadien de Toronto and a closing visit to Niagara Falls.
The Formatour International Seminar “Innovation and Creativity”, during its winter session in Toronto, reached a key milestone with a day dedicated to leadership and transformation.
Participants from across Africa, who are taking part in this unique international program, attended the Club canadien de Toronto business luncheon, which was held under the theme:
“Entrepreneurship and Transformation: Women’s Leadership in Action.”
The event provided a platform for inspiring women leaders who shared their career paths, entrepreneurial experiences, and insights on today’s challenges in innovation and organizational transformation. Their testimonies highlighted the vital role of women’s leadership in driving economic and social progress, as well as the importance of inclusive leadership in times of change.
Beyond the presentations, the luncheon facilitated high-level networking and exchanges, offering participants valuable opportunities to build connections and gain new perspectives on the Canadian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The General Director of Formatour, Mr. Gérard KOFFI, MBA, attended the event alongside senior executives from the Port Autonome d’Abidjan (PAA), who have been in Toronto for nearly a week as part of the seminar. Their joint participation reflected Formatour’s commitment to promoting enlightened leadership and supporting its partners in implementing sustainable transformation strategies.
In addition to the discussions, participants also experienced the richness of the Franco-Ontarian business community and enjoyed its warm welcome—even in the heart of the Canadian winter.
This highlight is part of the ongoing Formatour International Seminar, which aims to strengthen leaders’ capacities through innovation, creativity, and the sharing of experiences on a global scale.is
